Thanks for prayer fror my Mom. Her surgury went well, and she is home resting. The pathology report did come back indicating no cancer in the lymph nodes (yeah!), but there was a tiny 2mm cluster of cancer cells near the sentinal lymph nodes. The doctors feel that the chemotherapy will take care of them and that another surgery will not be necessary. The surgeon, oncologist and pathologist will meet on May 1st to discuss the best treatment.
